  • KAIZEN refers to the Japanese philosophy that means ongoing, continuous improvement. The idea is rooted in small, positive changes over time that reap significant results.

  • KAIZENFIT takes the KAIZEN philosophy and applies it to highly personalized coaching programs focused on your running and performance or your nutrition and fitness. Because mindset always comes before skillset, mindset development is an integral piece of all programs.

  • If you look closely, you’ll notice this is actually the ‘delta’ symbol. This symbol means change. This is a representation of the adaptations and transformation you’ll experience training with KAIZENFIT.

  • Every individual has their own unique set of circumstances, health background, lifestyle factors, ambitions, challenges, general experience, goals, and so on. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to programming here! We will take a deep dive into understanding where you currently are and build a custom road map for where you want to go. Your strategy will be entirely unique to you. You will have daily and/or weekly communication with Zach every step of the way to know exactly what adjustments need to be made and when to do so to maximize your results.

  • If this is something you are interested in, we can certainly discuss the logistics of working this in. There is a fee added due to travel and how frequently the in-person training occurs. This would have to take place at your home gym or location of your choice, so long as we have the permission of the location or gym owner. Simply put, some gyms don’t like outside trainers coming in to train their members.

  • Absolutely! No gym is required and MINIMAL equipment is needed. We can design custom programming for individuals who prefer to work out at home (non-home gym), on the road traveling, or literally anywhere else away from a traditional gym setting. There may be some basic recommended pieces of equipment such as resistance bands, broomstick or PVC pipe, or a pull-up bar, but all this can be discussed during your free consultation. We will work with what you do have and/or can get access to.

  • “If you give a person a fish, they eat for a day. If you teach a person how to fish, they can eat for a lifetime.”

    Short answer: Absolutely, yes.

    Our primary objective is to teach you the framework and give you the tools for being able to eat according to your nutrition goals where you get to choose what to eat every meal. Life will inevitably throw you off your schedule and being prepared for how to respond and handle your nutrition in these circumstances is essential. Coaching the development of healthy decision making is a key element to this program. You will also have access to our growing collection of healthy recipes, dishes that align with your macros, and nutrition hacks!

  • If only it were that easy! That depends really. What do “results” mean to you? Results will vary person-to-person based on a number of different factors. For some people, results mean hitting a new PR at their next race, training for a new race distance entirely to see what they are capable of, or simply finishing their first race. Other clients may see results by losing 30 pounds and sleeping better every night, the next person wants to gain 10 pounds of muscle and increase how much they can bench press, and someone else may just want to like what they see in the mirror every day – get their confidence back.

    If you decide to work 1:1 with Zach, you will see results, but that will be defined by your personal goals, the results you are after, and your adherence to the program.

  • I do. This would require the consent of the parent or legal guardian and ongoing communication with them about how things are progressing.

  • I specialize in working with busy professionals because I am one. I’ve found that busy individuals generally make the best clients because they are already committed to their calendar and list of daily priorities. Because each program is strategically designed around your lifestyle, it is created in a way that works for you and keeps you on a path for achieving long-term success.

  • Absolutely not. You will never be required to buy supplements, but we can have productive dialogue around supplements if it makes sense to do so. For instance, if you are finding it challenging to hit your daily protein goals, we may want to consider a protein supplement of some kind.

    However, the research also continues to support the idea that until your sleep, nutrition, stress, and other lifestyle factors are completely optimized, supplements in general tend to not move the needle a whole lot. More nuanced supplementation would come only after those areas are consistently dialed in.

  • YES! The only caveat is that I am accepting new clients at that time. However, whenever they do join, you will receive an official KAIZENFIT YETI water bottle as a thank you.

  • REFER 3, GET IT FREE! For as long as you have 3 or more active client referrals, your monthly fees are completely waived! Your waived fees will kick in immediately upon your 3rd referral’s sign up.

  • KAIZENFIT has partnered with Covenant Workplace Solutions to provide this professional, completely confidential service. Covenant Workplace Solutions has access to a long list of licensed mental health professionals to match you with. 

    In fact, if this is something you would like to add to your training program, you would receive a warm introduction to a member of the team at Covenant and they will take it from there. They will get you in their system, get to know your preferences, then get you matched and scheduled with the right provider. This is a private pay program that insurance is not an option for. This fee will be added to your monthly KAIZENFIT dues.
